Chris Sachs
Chris Sachs joined the Coal Hollow Brothers after years of being around the team through family, food, and the kind of stories that tend to improve with age. His uncle John helped found CHB, his father has been part of the team for more than a decade, and Chris officially joined during the team’s hiatus before making his first RoadKill Cook-Off appearance in 2025. A Certified Executive Chef by day and a Tactical Acquisition and Redistribution Specialist by night, Chris brings professional cooking experience, competition instincts, and a healthy tolerance for organized chaos to the team. His first actual RoadKill Cook-Off with CHB ended with the Brothers taking both First Place and Showmanship. Today, Chris serves as Executive Chef and Team Leader, helping carry more than twenty-five years of Coal Hollow Brothers tradition forward while keeping one eye on the food, one eye on the competition, and occasionally wondering how a perfectly reasonable idea turned into another full-scale production.
